Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, we are actively welcoming new patients of all ages. Our team makes it easy to get started — simply call our office and we will work to get you scheduled as soon as possible, often as early as the next day. As a new patient, you are also eligible for a free second opinion if you have concerns about a diagnosis or treatment plan from another dental provider. We want you to feel confident and informed before moving forward with any dental work.
We welcome patients starting at age 5 and treat the whole family through adulthood. From a child’s very first dental visit to complex restorative care for seniors, our team is experienced in caring for smiles at every stage of life. Having one trusted dental home for the entire family makes scheduling easier and allows us to build long-term relationships with every member of your household.
Yes. We offer oral conscious sedation for patients who feel anxious or nervous about dental visits. This form of sedation involves taking a prescribed oral medication before your appointment that puts you in a deeply calm and relaxed state during treatment. You will remain conscious and able to respond, but most patients report little to no memory of the procedure afterward. It is a safe, effective option that allows us to complete more treatment in a single visit while keeping you completely comfortable throughout.
Call our office right away. Dental emergencies — whether it is a severe toothache, a broken tooth, a lost filling, or a dental injury — should never be left untreated. We do our very best to see emergency patients the same day, and in most cases we can get you in within 24 hours. When you call, our team will ask you about your symptoms and give you guidance on managing discomfort until we can see you.
We offer two types of complimentary consultations. First, we provide free second opinions for new patients who are uncertain about a diagnosis or treatment recommendation from another dentist. This requires a full set of X-rays and a treatment plan from your current provider. Second, we offer free consultations for patients who are exploring denture options. Both are designed to help you make well-informed decisions about your oral health without any pressure or financial commitment.
Our dental office is conveniently located in Punta Gorda, FL and we proudly serve patients from throughout the surrounding region, including Port Charlotte, North Fort Myers, Fort Ogden, Arcadia, and the broader Charlotte and DeSoto county areas. If you are unsure whether we are the right fit for your location, give us a call and we will be happy to help.
Yes. Our office uses low-radiation digital X-rays as a standard part of your dental care. Compared to traditional film X-rays, digital X-rays expose you to a fraction of the radiation while producing sharper, more detailed images that our dentists can review with you in real time on a chairside monitor. They are faster, safer, and give us a more accurate picture of what is happening with your teeth, gums, and bone structure.
